The USB-6525 is a bus-powered industrial USBIO device that automates even the most demanding applications. Solid state relay outputs are ideal for controlling pumps, valves, motors, and a variety of other industrial actuators. The USB-6525 features interchannel isolated digital inputs that can be used to read data from industrial digital sensors, as well as eight solid-state relay outputs with a switching voltage of 60 VDC/30Vmms and a maximum switching current of 500mA per channel. With programmable power-on states, you can configure the initial output state in the software to ensure burr free and safe operation when connected to industrial actuators.
Trigger and sort
The NI USB-6525 series has four trigger modes to control the start and stop of waveform generation - single, continuous, step and burst. By combining these trigger modes with the link and loop flexibility of the NI USB-6525 series, complex waveforms can be created. With a memory configuration of 256 MB, more than 1 million waveforms can be stored in memory and linked in any order. Each waveform segment can cycle up to 16,777,216 times or indefinitely. Trigger signals can be received from the software as well as from the front panel connector, PXI trigger wire, PXI star trigger, or RTSI bus.
LVDS digital code type output
In addition to generating analog signals, the 32 and 256 MB configurations of the USB-6525 series can also generate low-voltage differential signal (LVDS) digital code types. LVDS is increasingly used in digital signal transmission because of its characteristics of reducing power consumption, reducing electromagnetic interference and anti-noise. The digital code pattern generated on the digital Data and Control (DDC) front panel connector corresponds to the analog waveform being generated and utilizes all link, loop, trigger and timing functions. A sampling clock is also provided on the DDC I/O connector to latch the digital code type. Alternatively, users can clock the NI USB-6525 series externally via the DDC front panel connector. The NI Digital Waveform editor is available as an add-on software package that provides additional functionality for creating LVDS digital patterns.
