MVI56E-DNPNET is an Ethernet module.
The module has a slot that supports 8,000 binary outputs, 8,000 binary inputs, and 1,000 counters. It uses additional instructions in RSLogix 5000 for module configuration and setup, allowing configuration data to be stored in PAC ladder code.
The main feature of the MVI56E-DNPNET module is that it has an integrated serial port that supports RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 (jumper optional) communication.
