The IC697CPU781 is a programmable logic controller CPU that can be installed in a single rack slot. In order to communicate with the various "smart options" modules, a rack-mounted backplane with multiple connectors is used. Operate this device using a toggle control switch with three positions or a connected computer with specific software.
The IC697CPU781 has a 16MHz microprocessor. The Boolean function is calculated every 0.4 microseconds. The device supports analog I/O up to 8K, as well as any mixture of 12K inputs and outputs. Support for a variety of "smart options" modules, such as the IC697 series discrete and analog modules. The IC697 LAN module and bus controllers for the IC660 and IC661 modules are also supported.
