IC698CMX016-ED is a communication module for PACSystems RX7i programmable controllers.
This module is the Control Memory Xchange module in the RX7i series, also known as the Control Memory Switch module. Its main function is to provide deterministic data sharing between
PLCS (Programmable logic controllers) and compatible devices via a fiber optic network using reflected memory technology.
The module has 16MB of reflected memory and parity check to ensure data integrity and accuracy. It has a fiber optic port designed for LC connectors and supports data transfer rates up to
2.12 Gbaud. In addition, the module supports a Daisy chain connection, which allows up to 256 nodes to be connected via FO cables, forming a reliable communication network. Each node's
